Building This Portfolio Site

I wanted to create a portfolio site. Nothing fancy, just something to show my work and skills. But the thing is I wanted it to feel a bit different from modern websites.

So, I went back to 2000. Blue and orange color scheme, no fancy shadows, Verdana font. It’s like stepping into a time machine, but in a good way.

Chunky borders and flat design that reminds me of the good old days.

Tech Stack

Built with Astro v5 for static site generation. TypeScript, modern CSS, semantic HTML, no frameworks.

What’s Next

This is just the start. I’ll be using this devlog to document whatever I’m working on - experiments, demos, random tech thoughts.
